commZoom® is in the process of system-wide technology upgrades across its network. Upgrades will occur in phases with many market upgrades completed already. After upgrades, commZoom will deliver Internet via a high speed Hybrid Fiber Coax (HFC) network infrastructure to local neighborhoods and business districts in the new markets. Specifically, these upgrades will bring the highest Internet speeds available in its service areas, along with fully digital high definition cable television and voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) telephone service. In the future commZoom will offer gigabit speeds to business districts for commercial accounts and up to 500 Mbps (megabits per second) download speeds to residential customers and subscribers in the systems.
